The Embassy of the United States of America in Canberra is the diplomatic mission representing the U.S. government to Australia, with consulates in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Established in 1946, it was the first embassy to open in Canberra and remains one of the largest, located in Yarralumla. The Embassy houses the U.S. Commercial Service (Foreign Commercial Service) with offices in Sydney, Canberra and Perth, plus an Economic Affairs section. It assists U.S. exporters with market entry into Australia via Gold Key Service, International Partner Search, International Company Profile and Single Company Promotion programs. It also supports Australian investors via SelectUSA. The U.S.-Australia bilateral relationship features around USD 1.6 trillion in two-way investment and roughly USD 65 billion in annual goods and services trade.
