ilab is the University of Queensland's flagship 12-week startup accelerator, run by UQ Ventures and one of Australia's longest-running accelerator programs. It fast-tracks UQ student, staff and alumni startups with a structured curriculum on business strategy, product development, go-to-market and investor readiness, alongside a $15,000 SAFE-note investment from UniQuest. Originally established by the Queensland Government in 2000 and acquired by UQ in 2009, ilab has supported 300+ startups attracting hundreds of millions in investment.
