About
AmCham Australia (American Chamber of Commerce in Australia) is Australia's largest and most prestigious international business organisation, founded in 1961 to promote the two-way flow of trade and investment between the United States and Australia. The Chamber operates offices in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth, giving members a national footprint and on-the-ground presence in every major Australian commercial centre. AmCham gives members exclusive access to thought leadership, communities of interest, policy advice, business advocacy, and curated relationships with senior business and government leaders. Core member services include offshore trade missions, business networking events, trade development programs and access to senior business executives. The Chamber is led by CEO April Palmerlee and serves as a hub for both established US multinationals operating in Australia and Australian companies expanding into the US market. AmCham is sector-agnostic, supporting members across industries including technology, defence, infrastructure, financial services and resources. As a bilateral chamber it is independent of government but works closely with both Australian and US government stakeholders on policy matters.
Why Work With Us
AmCham gives US companies entering Australia (and ANZ companies entering the US) a ready-made network of senior executives, government contacts and trade-mission infrastructure across every major Australian capital. Members gain advocacy support, market intelligence and direct access to bilateral business and policy leaders.
